Song of The Week: "End of The World"

Song of The Week: "End of The World" by Ingrid Michaelson

Live version (even better!):

Another song from Ingrid Michaelson, this one comes from her previous album Human Again. The first time I listened to it, I nearly bawled. It might have been because of the musical key that the song is in, or the impactful lyrics, or Ingrid's delicate voice (or all three!). But there is no doubt that this song is filled with emotion.
The only problem I have with this song is that, on the album version, the autotune/mixing makes Ingrid sound like a young teenager as she's singing the chorus; there's little to no depth/subtlety in her voice (if that makes sense... I'm not sure how to describe it). Which is why think her live version is a million times better.
Fun fact: Ingrid was inspired to write this song after watching a zombie movie. :)

Lyrics:
When the sun runs out and there's no one to save you
Will you go to our favorite place and try to say goodbye

At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
Will you find me
At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
So that we can go together

When the moon breaks up and the tide goes out of control
Will you find me in the water and swim me to the stars

At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
Will you find me
At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
So that we can go together

Together...

When the sun breaks up and there's no one to save you

At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
Will you find me
At the end of
At the end of the world
Will you find me
Will you find me
Will you find me
Will you find me
